i’m all set for my third run this year,, the NATURE VALLEY RUN 2010. it will be on May 30, Sunday. Gunstart for 5kms is at 5:40 a.m.
This time, my tribe has grown to 3 more family members, so it will be a blast!! The good thing about joining this run is knowing that for every registered runner, they will be planting one tree as part of their reforestation project!
Yesterday, my sister and i bought 43 Pycos Trees to be planted in one of our projects. It’s not enough but, it’s just the beginning…. I hope people who will someday be given the task of taking care of these trees will just do what is needed as we owe our Mother Nature a lot.
So, not only will i get something good for my health from joining this run, i will also participate in the “greening” of our environment as well,, and i am glad i joined.
Will keep you posted as to my performance again. Good or Bad, only God knows. 🙂 In the meantime, practice, practice, and more practice!!

THINK that I shall never see A poem lovely as a tree. A tree whose hungry mouth is prest Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast; A tree that looks at God all day, And lifts her leafy arms to pray; A tree that may in Summer wear A nest of robins in her hair; Upon whose bosom snow has lain; Who intimately lives with rain. Poems are made by fools like me, But only God can make a tree.
